What Darb chargesGhantoot and Al Qurm opened on 4 May 2026 and charge AED 4 around the clock, seven days a week. A car coming back from Abu Dhabi at night crosses one of them, which is why Darb needs checking and not only Salik.
Check these three thingsThe AED 16 daily cap and the monthly caps for private vehicles were removed on 1 September 2025, and the evening window now starts at 3:00 PM. One car can accumulate whatever it crosses in a month.
What Darb chargesA vehicle registered outside Abu Dhabi that crosses without enough balance and does not top up within five days is fined AED 50. Unregistered plates get the AED 100, AED 200 and AED 400 ladder after ten days.
The toll lands on youAbu Dhabi's early payment scheme: 35 per cent off a fine paid in full within 60 days of the violation, 25 per cent within a year, severe violations excluded. An AED 600 fine is AED 390 on day five and AED 600 after a year.
Discount windowsLook fines up through Abu Dhabi Police e-services, TAMM or Emirates Vehicle Gate. TAMM flags a non-payable fine and moves it, with its black points, to the driver's licence, confirmed by OTP. The point transfer service has no fee.

Every crossing lands on the rental that was live at that minute, and the Darb balance sits next to the Salik balance so a wallet does not run dry while a car is out.
Fines and tollsA fine is matched to the contract by plate and timestamp. The daily view exists so you see it while the 35 per cent window is still open and the deposit is still held.
Fines and tollsThe renter saves a card when they sign. When a Darb crossing or a fine turns up after the return, you charge it to that card from DECK, through your own Stripe account, and the renter gets a receipt.
PaymentsFuel, kilometres, price and deposit recorded at hand-over and printed on the contract, with the clauses that let you pass a toll or a fine on. Every driver named on it signs, from a link DECK sends on WhatsApp.
ContractsTax invoices with your TRN, receipts read for you and the bank statement matched line by line. The month goes to your accountant in one pack for QuickBooks, Zoho Books or Xero.
